Overview

:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cold Store Operative to join our busy team; contributing to efficient workflow across the store room floor, adapting easily to different scenarios and challenges, delivering on team KPIs, and following the daily workflow set by the Team Leader.

Jones is a family run catering butchers (est. 1962), with a small and close-knit team of butchers, production operators, cold store operatives and delivery drivers, supplying meats from around the world to London and the Home Counties.

Relevant cold storage, order fulfilment and food handling & safety experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

:

Monitor and report on inventory & stock levels

Perform stock rotation.

Pick & pack daily orders.

Book in all goods received and ensure these are committed to our inventory management software.

Maintain cleanliness of the cold storage & freezer spaces.

Maintain quality assurance and food safety protocols.

Follow the daily workflow for the cold store team as laid out by the Team Leader and maintain high standards of work to ensure;

o All orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

o All goods received are booked in correctly and safely stored.

o The cold storage space & freezer is clear, efficiently packed and ready for operation the following day.

:

Proficient in food safety practices and regulations (Certification training supplied).

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm +1 Saturday per month (fixed schedule)
