Coldstore Operative & Relief Van Driver - Temporary Until August 2025 (Potential to Go Permanent)

We're Consort Frozen Foods - the UK's leading ice cream specialist - and we're looking for a hardworking and reliable person to join our Coldstore Team at our Ashford depot. Alongside working in the warehouse, you'll also be trained to support as a

relief multi-drop delivery driver

when needed, so a full UK driving licence and being

21 or over

(for vehicle insurance purposes) is a must.

What You'll Be Doing:

Picking and packing stock to fulfil customer orders in our coldstore (we'll kit you out with a high-quality freezer suit). Assisting with loading our 3.5t and 7.5t refrigerated vehicles. Helping to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and Health & Safety. Learning the ropes as a delivery driver - you'll be trained to cover multi-drop van routes to support the Drivers Team during busy times and holidays.

What We're Looking For:

A flexible, positive team player who's comfortable working in cold conditions. A full UK driving licence and

aged 21 or over

- essential for insurance purposes. A Reach Truck licence is a bonus, but not required. Previous warehouse or driving experience is helpful, but not essential - full training will be provided.

What You'll Get:

Competitive pay: 12.44/hour (18+) or 10.00/hour (16-17). Minimum 20-hour contract (Monday to Friday between 7am and 10pm). Hours may vary throughout the contract.
