Please note this is a 15 month fixed term contract.

The role involves working closely with uniform and workwear suppliers, internal stakeholders, and management teams to meet practical needs of our front-line colleagues in all operational functions-including Airport Operations, Engineering & Baggage, Services & Security, Heathrow Express & Rail, Landside Operations, and VIP. The role will focus on understanding current practices, inventory, logistics, accommodation, and ways of working. It will identify opportunities for improvement and drive change to simplify processes, enhance delivery, and build trust and confidence among colleagues.
This role will report directly to the Colleague Welfare and Logistics Lead and will play a key part in delivering the strategy for Colleague Uniforms across the operation.
Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading layered and matrixed stakeholder management, acting as the Lead Partner with Directors and Heads of across the business, to prioritise and resolve initiatives while creating a pipeline of opportunities based on historic and ongoing colleague feedback, targeting improved Operations colleague engagement scores
  • Ensuring a consistent range of products and streamlined processes to provide colleagues with a safe, functional environment that supports their daily work needs, including appropriate workwear or uniforms, while also enabling support for broader colleague welfare initiatives.
  • Co-ordinating new colleague projects as the requirement evolves and operationalise newly initiated projects.
  • Collaborating with Procurement to maintain an up-to-date contract and working with our Supplier's to understand and manage the contract.
  • Taking accountability for the contract spend.
  • Line management responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • An enhanced understanding of the airport operational working environment with a good understanding of critical processes in relation to colleague requirements.
  • Hold a valid driving licence and be confident to drive.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Be willing to undertake manual handling training.
