We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations by representing the company positively during all deliveries.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
DPD Driver needed for middleton depot

Age over 21 for insurance purposes.

Full driving licence held for at least 1year (up to 3 points)

NO INTERNATIONAL LICENCE

Dbs check

Proof national insurance number

Driver share code is required

RIGHT TO WORK (psw welcome)

Same route everyday 6 days a week

1 per successful stop delivered

Avearge earnings between 80-150 a day

Full training will be provided
