The Role
Collections Access Officers - Several part time roles, 3 x days p/w, requiring Saturday and Sunday working.
We are looking for individuals who are excited by the opportunity to bring the V&A's revolutionary new Order an Object service to life, engaging with visitors directly to provide unprecedented access to our collections.
You will deliver the Service, guiding visitors throughout their journey, working closely with the Senior Collections Access Officers to ensure exceptional experiences for everyone.
You will carry out a range of collection care activities, including working with collections management systems and undertaking the handling and movement of objects, working with colleagues across the organisation to deliver unparalleled access to the V&A's collections not on display, whilst ensuring their safety and care.
V&A East Storehouse is a unique new museum experience opening up the V&A collection to everyone. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the V&A as an integral part of our Collections Access team working to deliver easy, safe, meaningful and equitable access to collections for all.
We are looking to make several appointments for part time roles 3 days a week, two days of which will be Saturday and Sunday plus one other flexible day.
