EB Critical are looking for a Combustion Engineer to join our team!
This role is well suited for a proactive and knowledgeable Combustion Engineer, that wants to help EB Critical grow and develop its culture changing business model, as we expand our services into the combustion system sector.
Primary responsibilities:
Install, commission and service Industrial combustion systems on some of the UK's most critical infrastructure assets.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
Proactively support customer accounts ensuring their assets are compliant and reliable.
Provide support for the engineering project delivery team throughout the UK.
Create strong working relationships with customers by understanding their sites, systems, and service requirements.
Identify referral, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities within the client portfolio.
Actively promote all product groups and service streams to new and existing customers.
Support business development and attend networking events on behalf of EB Critical when required.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence.
Gas qualifications; COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1 and CORT1
HNC/ LEVEL 4 or above in an engineering or maintenance discipline.
A strong proven engineering background within the Electrical/ Electronic sector.
Previous experience with industrial burners from the following manufacturers Nu-way, UNIGAS, Hamworthy, Saacke, Weishaupt, Dreizler, Dunphy, Riello.
Good knowledge of control systems such as LamTec, Autoflame, Dungs, Honeywell.
Good knowledge of Steam, Hot water and Thermal Fluid systems.
Candidates must be able to complete Nights Away to support client's sites throughout the UK and Europe when required.
Desirable attributes:
Gas qualifications; CDGA1, CONGLP1 and TPCP1A.
Oil Qualifications; OFT10-201, OFT10-101 OFT10-102
Good Technical understanding of Industrial Process Equipment e.g. Fluid Pumping Systems, Gas Boosters, Fuel Storage Systems.
18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
Hold an in-date Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) qualification.
