Duties
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and stock rotation
Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen
Lead team management efforts, including training new staff and providing ongoing support to ensure excellent service delivery
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to coordinate serving times and optimise customer satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and development of new culinary concepts
Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and presentation expectations
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Excellent organisational skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
Good understanding of hospitality standards and customer service excellence
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving knowledge that enhances guest interactions
