Ayr & Stranraer Agency.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop an established portfolio of commercial clients, with a strong focus on the agricultural sector. While previous experience in insurance is not essential, a proven track record in customer service and ideally some experience in sales or relationship management is key.
In this role, you will:
Build strong, trusted relationships with existing commercial customers
Meet clients face-to-face across Ayrshire and Wigtownshire, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions
Identify opportunities to grow accounts and introduce additional NFU Mutual products
Proactively seek new business opportunities (a smaller but important part of the role)
Deliver the exceptional service NFU Mutual is known for by going the extra mile when needed
Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the agency and a consistently positive client experience
About you
We're seeking someone who is:
Customer-focused, with a genuine desire to help people and solve problems
Confident and personable, able to build rapport quickly and communicate clearly
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn
Organised, with strong attention to detail
Experienced in customer service, relationship management, or sales
Insurance experience is welcome but not essential--full training and support will be provided.
Full UK driving licence required
