The Work You'll Do:





Commercial Account Executives are responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and to close long-term contracts. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process. This role will be responsible for the sales process from BRFC to Close, while leveraging resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, whiling articulating the value propositions of Sovos' products and services. This role will work with various departments throughout the company with an emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process.


More specifically you will:


Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensures quota attainment Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction Work with sales and marketing team to share new ideas and new business development strategies Leverages multiple communication methods Skilled at time management and prioritization Effective at territory planning and execution Efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities Acts as a role model and mentor across organization sharing best practices and messaging etc. Shows willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences



What We Need From You:




Ability to navigate and manage end to end sales cycles 1-3 years' experience as BDR, quota-carrying Sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers Comprehend and communicate complex concepts Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems Utilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements and effective communication Presents/leads team meetings Makes their own opportunities for learning experiences Joins trainings, webinars and asks questions often Learn from support for additional insight on how solution works Understand how product works from Support POV
