Abouto the opportunity





This role is ideal for an extremely ambitious, high-performing SDR ready to step into a full sales cycle AE position. You'll manage and close inbound new business leads, working at pace to deliver high-volume, high velocity deals. You'll also collaborate across the wider PSSG group to drive cross-sell opportunities with existing payroll and HR customers.



Inbound New Business:


Qualify and close high-intent, marketing-generated leads. Run product demos and webinars, identify pain points, and close fast-cycle deals. Leverage sales methodologies like Sandler and MEDDICC to build momentum and increase win rates.

Client Expansion & Cross-Sell:

Collaborate with stakeholders in Payroll & HR divisions to identify cross-sell opportunities. Build trust with existing clients to introduce expense management solutions. Deliver tailored value propositions to finance decision-makers (FDs, CFOs, Controllers).

Sales Operations & Coaching:

Maintain CRM hygiene and forecast accurately. Actively participate in monthly Sandler workshops and 1:1 coaching. Embrace continuous learning to improve performance and product knowledge.
Target assessment and deliverables to achieve will include:Work towards individual and quarterly KPIs and targets to support your own and the wider sales team's goals. Standard targets and KPIs include quarterly revenue target, sales conversion rates, Demo to close rate, upsell and cross-sell revenue.


About you





2+ years in SaaS sales, ideally in an SDR or similar role. Coachable, emotionally intelligent, and eager to learn. Strong time management and ability to manage multiple deals. Tech-savvy: comfortable demoing software and explaining AI features. Proven ability to influence and communicate with finance stakeholders. Software and tech sales experience. Strong skills as an influencer, communicator, relationship builder and networker. Action-oriented with the ability to take the initiative, spotting and seizing on opportunities. Drives KPIs through goal setting, maintaining high standards and meeting key deadlines. Follows through on commitments showing consistency between words and actions. Adaptability and able to differ the approach depending on the situation. Demonstrates resilience, maintaining a positive attitude whilst navigating difficult obstacles. Exceptional time management & organisational skills. The ability to analyse data into meaningful actions/outcomes and opportunities. Experience and/or passion for sales qualification methodology such as MEDDICC. Takes action to keep product knowledge and skills up to date. An interest in emerging technologies and products.
