We are looking for an additional commercial account handler to join our team here at Cass-Stephens Insurances.
The successful candidate will be required to assist in providing a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new customers.
Working within our friendly and expanding team, the successful applicant's main duties and responsibilities will include:
To service, retain and grow a varied portfolio of commercial insurance clients, comprising in the main of small businesses and property owners. You will also provide occasional cover for personal lines colleagues
To assist clients when they have questions about or need to make amendments to their cover, or when they need to make a claim
To deal with incoming new business enquiries
Knowledge, skills and experience required include:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above including English and Mathematics.
Commercial insurance experience, ideally in an insurance broking position
Cert CII qualification, or willingness to commence studies towards it
IT skills - including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook and ideally experience of using the Acturis system
Good customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and planning skills.
As Chartered Insurance Brokers and an independent owner-managed business, we believe strongly in the training and development of our team. We will support you with your CII studies and help you to progress through our business into an account executive role with us in the future.
