We're now looking for a
Commercial Administrator
to support our operations and commercial team with the day-to-day management of project administration, variations, and documentation.
The Role
As a Commercial Administrator, you'll play a key part in ensuring our projects run smoothly -- providing administrative and commercial support to management and site teams.
Your role will include:
Preparing and submitting
variations
,
applications for payment
, and
supporting documentation
Maintaining project files, cost records, and communication logs
Assisting with purchase orders, invoicing, and supporting documents in
Xero
(experience desirable)
Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers for certificates, insurance, and compliance documentation
Supporting general office administration as required
About You
We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and confident communicating with both internal teams and clients. You'll need to manage multiple deadlines and keep information accurate and up to date.
Essential:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
Experience with
variations
,
applications for payment
, or commercial documentation
Knowledge of
Xero
or similar accounting software
Experience in a construction, contracting, or similar environment
Background in accounts or commercial administration
AAT qualification (or working towards) preferred. ATT or ACA/ACCA also advantageous but not essential.
