Role: Commercial Assistant - FTC 6 months


Location: Leeds, LS15 8GB

(with hybrid working)




Salary: 26,000 per annum pro rata, plus extensive benefits


Contract type: Fixed Term Contract - 6 months


Employment type: Full time


Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

The Commercial Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Commercial and Senior Manager for Marketing in the successful execution of trading strategies. This role ensures that the Pharmacy2U and Lloyds Online Doctors offer a compelling and competitive proposition versus their respective competitor sets - that meets customer needs while contributing to business growth. The position involves assisting with researching the market, development and delivery of trading plans, working well with internal and external stakeholders, performance analysis and general administration to support the optimisation of commercial performance.

What you'll be doing?



Assist in gathering and analysing data to track the performance of key product categories (daily, weekly, monthly) Provide insights into trends, sales performance, margin, and competitor activities Prepare regular reports and dashboards to monitor, report and improve commercial performance Assist with the addition of new products, conditions and services from sourcing to website launch Support merchandising to ensure that product listings and descriptions on the website are accurate and up-to-date Monitor performance of products, categories and website conversion and suggest changes or improvements Work closely with the marketing, supply chain, finance, and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment on planning and delivery of strategies and promotions Support the execution of campaign, condition and product launches by working well with supporting functions Provide general administrative assistance to the Head of Commercial and Senior Marketing Manager, including maintaining spreadsheets, creating presentations, promotion set-up and tracking budgets

Who are we looking for?



Relevant work experience, ideally within an administrative function, is desirable but not essential GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint High level of accuracy in data entry, reporting, and stock management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external suppliers Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Ability to handle projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met
