About the role



We're looking for a proactive and organised Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial Team within Power T&D. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing



In this role, you will undertake a range of administrative activities to support the Commercial Team, helping to ensure efficient workflows and accurate documentation across the project. Typical tasks may include:


Managing documentation and maintaining accurate records Assisting with contract administration and data entry Supporting reporting activities and commercial processes Providing general office and team support as required Run contract cost reports from accounting software under supervision of Finance Manager Support Commercial Managers during month end ensuring system accruals are accurate and billing of jobs are undertaken
+ Support Change management team in preparation of Contract Notifications
Use of Contract management systems as required Sypro, CEMAR, Oracle
Collating information to feed into Contract performance management tools
Chase subcontractor applications and aid with commercial administration Collating timesheet information from contractors to ensure compliance with contract Updating Commercial team Organograms as required
Health, Safety and Quality:
Compliance with all aspects of BB and the client HSEA policies Support the contract in terms of reporting requirements

Confident IT / Systems user -Excel, Word, Outlook Team player Pro-active and highly motivated to meet team objectives Self-motivated to achieve a high level of performance Good business acumen Experience in the efficient and effective management of software skills Good interpersonal skills and communication Excellent organisational skills

Adaptable to changing situationsThe following qualities are desirable


Oracle R12/CEMAR/Sypro/BIM360 Office 365 Microsoft SharePoint Previous experience in Construction Industry
