We have a vacancy for Commercial Assistant to join our team, supporting the commercial team for Ground Engineering, predominantly based at our Kilsyth Office, however you may be required to be Project based on occasion, and with the opportunity to work flexibly in line with our policy.



As a Commercial Assistant, the role will see you contribute significantly to a successful commercial outcome to any part or section of a Project with which you are associated.

As Commercial Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with Company policy. Be aware and contribute in "Your Safety is My Safety" vision. Assist with the monthly cost and value reconciliation supplying requested information such as material and plant accruals Input into SAP, MyTime, Rental Results or similar cost collation tool Manage and maintain incoming subcontract invoices, liaising with site teams to ensure timely approval of invoices Process Subcontractor payments Produce cost monitoring reports Maintain document filing system Collate commercial data into regular reports Assist in general with commercial functions. Attend meetings and training sessions Maintain personal diary Utilise computer software packages for word processing, spread-sheets, graphics and presentations Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time. Ensure compliance and adherence with project and company commercial procedures to follow an agreed process for cost control

What do you bring to the role?

National 5 and/or Higher's in English and Mathematics Previous Industry experience would be an advantage To be diligent and motivated Demonstrate a desire to learn and progress Show interest to increase your knowledge of the construction industry Good communication skills Good IT skills
