Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer (with Gas Boosters & TPCP1/TPCP1A)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Commercial Gas Engineer

to join our team, with specific expertise in

gas boosters

and the ability to carry out

testing and purging in accordance with TPCP1 and TPCP1A

. The successful candidate must have

a minimum of 5 years' experience

in commercial gas systems and demonstrate strong technical knowledge of boiler and gas safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake

planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair

across a range of commercial contracts Work on

gas booster systems

and related safety equipment Perform

gas tightness testing and purging procedures

in line with TPCP1 and TPCP1A certification standards Maintain low/high pressure, steam, and hot water boiler systems Ensure compliance with gas safety and health & safety legislation Participate in the emergency out-of-hours call-out rota Communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams Accurately report on completed works and recommend further action where necessary

Required Experience & Competencies

Minimum 5 years' experience

in commercial gas engineering Proven experience with

gas boosters

and

testing/purging procedures

Strong knowledge of

HVAC systems

, combustion systems, and boiler operations Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Qualifications (Essential)

CCN1 CEN1 (E) CODNCO1 TPCP1 & TPCP1A (valid and in date) OFTEC qualification (desirable) Valid UK Driving Licence
