Job Description

On behalf of DCMS, we are looking for a Commercial Business Partner, (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based in either London or Manchester.



As a Commercial Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be:



Lead on procurements of varying complexity, sometimes against tight timelines in line with Public Procurement Regulations. Interacting with the relevant business areas (or ALB's) on progress and requirements Provide clear and concise commercial advice to seniors and external stakeholders, when required. Take personal responsibility; challenge and hold stakeholders to account, create an environment that acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement; help us to develop innovative commercial solutions to meet Departmental objectives and increase efficiency whilst operating with a high degree of technical competence Advise and undertake Contract Management activities, Assist with the implementation and embedding of supplier relationship management and Contract Management processes in the department

Essential:

Experience in Procurement regulations SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. Generalist Procurement Business Partner experience with some experience of IT procurement Experience of internal Procurement competitions Knowledge, experience and understanding of PCR 2015

Desirable:

MCIPS / CIPS DDaT experience Experience of Atamis / Jaggear or similar e-sourcing portals
