Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Commercial Extraction Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. You must be qualified to GHT level. As a key member of our field operations, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and degreasing of commercial kitchen extraction systems, including canopies, filters, ductwork, and fans, in accordance with industry standards (e.g., TR19) and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:



Carry out comprehensive cleaning of commercial kitchen extraction systems to a high standard. Dismantle and reassemble extraction system components for effective cleaning. Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently. Conduct pre and post-cleaning inspections, identifying and reporting any issues or damage. Complete detailed job sheets, reports, and photographic evidence for each project. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and organised company vehicle and equipment. Represent [Your Company Name] professionally at client sites. Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management. Liaise effectively with clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:



Proven experience in commercial kitchen extraction cleaning is essential. BESA TR19 Grease Qualifications - GHT mimimum Knowledge of TR19 guidelines and other relevant industry standards. Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (training can be provided). Strong understanding of health and safety practices. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required. Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Desirable (but not essential):



CSCS Card. IPAF / PASMA certification. Confined Space training. Asbestos Awareness training.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
