We are currently looking for experienced Service Engineers to become part of the Stephens Catering Equipment team covering the North West working from our Lifford office. The candidate will be responsible for repairing commercial catering equipment. The work will involve the installation and servicing of gas, electrical and refrigeration appliances.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Commercial Catering Service Engineer at Stephens Catering Equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial kitchen equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Install & Commission New Equipment: Set up and test new commercial catering equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Service & Repair Existing Equipment: Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and conduct repairs to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
Service & Repair Refrigeration Equipment
Share Out-of-Hours Service Rota: Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service calls. Currently 1 in 10 weekend rota
Identify & Rectify Problems: Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, implement effective solutions and provide detailed reports.
Complete service reports promptly on completion of jobs
Candidate Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who meets the following criteria:
Relevant Electrical Qualification: Possess a valid electrical qualification, demonstrating your technical competency.
Working Knowledge of Basic Plumbing: Familiarity with basic plumbing principles to support equipment installation and maintenance.
Previous Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Experience: Proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, particularly in the context of commercial catering equipment.
Good Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
Willingness to attend ongoing training and travel if necessary
Full Clean Driving License: Hold a valid and clean driver's license to travel to client locations.
Ability to Work Cooperatively: Collaborate effectively with team members and clients, fostering a positive working environment.
Ability to Use Own Initiative: Exhibit problem-solving skills and take proactive measures to address challenges.
Safe Pass an Advantage: Possession of a Safe Pass qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
