Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.

The schedule for this job is 3 hours per evening, Monday - Friday (4:30 pm - 7:30 pm).

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas in commercial buildings Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure surfaces are sanitized and spotless Empty trash bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish supplies such as paper towels and soap dispensers Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities to management Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift Maintain cleanliness records and complete checklists to ensure all areas meet quality standards

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and consistency Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues Must hold a driving license and have your own vehicle.
