Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate would be a car owner who could work outside normal hours, providing holiday cover for cleaning staff working in commercial premises. This would suit someone who wants to work either in the mornings or evenings. We would hope that you would be able to work flexibly and adapt to changing working environments. All staff are trained by the company prior to employment.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise all areas ensuring that all surfaces are hygienic. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure consistency in service delivery. Assist with special cleaning projects as required, including deep cleaning tasks. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving items. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
