John Barkers Solicitors are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Commercial Conveyancing
Administrator to join our Commercial Property team in Grimsby. This role involves
providing essential administrative support to solicitors and fee earners, helping to ensure
smooth progression of commercial property transactions from instruction through to
completion.
Key Responsibilities
Opening new files and completing compliance/AML checks
Managing case files, databases and document systems
Preparing Land Registry forms, completion statements and key paperwork
Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and local authorities
Organising diaries, managing deadlines and carrying out general office administration
Supporting transactions to ensure they progress efficiently from instruction to completion
What You'll Need
Experience in a conveyancing or legal administration role (commercial or residential)
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Confident communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office; experience with case management systems is an
advantage
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
Additional legal or business administration qualifications (e.g., CILEX Level 2/3) are
desirable but not essential
