Job Description

An established and well-respected regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Debt Recoveries Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution team based in Banbury.
The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of commercial debt recovery matters, acting for a broad portfolio of businesses ranging from SMEs to national organisations. The work will include:
Advising clients on pre-action strategy and recovery prospects
Issuing county court and high court proceedings
Enforcement action, including charging orders, third-party debt orders and insolvency processes
Drafting pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements
Conducting negotiations and managing defended debt claims
Working closely with internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years' PQE within commercial litigation or debt recovery (all levels considered)
Strong knowledge of the CPR and debt recovery procedures
A commercial, solution-focused approach
Excellent communication and client-care skills
Ability to manage volume work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
