This role is 37.5 hours per week

Remote working with travel as required around the South West and Wales
What you'll be doing
Drive improved financial awareness via effective business partnering, finance inductions and training.
Support adhoc and month end reporting and analysis; provide informative analysis of performance at site level, identifying key variances, underlying causes, risks and opportunities to key stakeholders.
Support services to operate within budget and ensure effective remedial plans are in place to address key variances. In conjunction with the wider Finance function, ensure the integrity, probity and reasonableness of local financial controls and financial data, in order to minimise financial risk via the correct implementation of local procedures.
Support the Finance Business Partner with bespoke pricing, fee initiative projects such as inflation, needs led and other ad hoc projects.
Support the Finance Business Partner with payroll approvals within the agreed processes and timescales.
Support the business units to appraise and prepare business cases, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and meet the business need.
Attend sites to investigate financial irregularities, reconcile operational practises to the budget for each site and support sites with proactive margin improvement plans.
Undertake projects for the Group, which may cover a diverse range of topics within commercial and operational settings.
Support the Finance Business Partner during forecasting and budgeting processes.
Develop and support reporting processes for the divisional financial team and operations.
What you'll bring to the role
Experience as a Commercial Analyst or Management Accountant in any field
Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferable
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Professionally qualified as an accountant or studying towards one of the recognised accountancy bodies (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent). Candidates that are QBE will be considered based on their experience.
