The

Commercial

Finance Business Partner

is responsible for revenue management for our Partnership revenue stream, evaluation of new partnership opportunities, business case support on product appraisal, support the portfolio pricing team with proposal evaluations, and manage Operating/royalty expense support for both the Portfolio and Partnership teams.


This position reports to the

Commercial

Finance Director,

and is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis Team located in

Cambridge

and will be an

on-site

role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:



Planning and Budgeting

: Drive the revenue budgeting and revenue forecasting processes for Partners, own the detailed modelling and ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Financial Analysis

: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including business case support, new opportunity appraisal, variance and trend analysis, and forecasting.

Business Partnering

: Build strong relationships with key business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide financial expertise.

Financial Controls

: Ensure appropriate SOX compliant controls in place for our revenue recognition requirements.

Process Improvement

: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

The essential requirements of the job include:



Qualified accountant Proven experience in a similar role. Advanced

financial modelling

and

analytical skills

(i.e. Excel). Strong understanding of

financial principles

and

accounting standards

. Proficiency in

financial planning

systems and tools.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:



Experience with

Tableau

Experience with

Oracle
