Main duties of the job
As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a key player in shaping financial decisions at the highest level, ensuring Avery's homes continue to deliver outstanding care with financial sustainability. Your responsibilities will include preparing full management accounts, presenting financial performance to senior leadership, managing VAT and CIS returns, leading the annual budgeting process, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Were looking for a talented and driven Commercial Finance Manager to join our award-winning team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, youll be a key player in driving financial performance across our care homes, providing insight, leadership, and strategic support.
This is a high-impact role where your expertise will help shape decisions at the highest level, ensuring our homes continue to deliver outstanding care with financial sustainability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the preparation of full management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations for each care home.
  • Present financial performance to the CFO and senior leadership.
  • Produce weekly reporting for Directors and Senior Managers.
  • Manage VAT and CIS returns across the Group.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process, collaborating with Regional Managers and Operations Directors.
  • Lead ad hoc projectsfrom process improvements to performance deep-dives.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as new home integrations and financial modelling.
