COMMERCIAL FLEET / WORKSHOP MANAGER

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Manager to take full ownership of our busy Private Hire and PSV Fleet workshop operations. This is a leadership role, reporting directly to the company directors, with overall responsibility for:

Day-to-day management of the workshop, a team of 2 full time mechanics,1 part time mechanic, 1 yard man, 1 workshop assistant. Maintenance and compliance of a growing fleet of commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for a candidate with a mechanical engineering and management background. Awareness of vehicle technical requirements, and strong commercial awareness. The successful candidate will be organised, and able to balance several different aspects of the job, and a hunger to learn more about our industry. Control and manage workshop budgets, ensuring efficiency and cost control Support the expansion of the fleet from

65 vehicles to 100

We Offer

Salary: 42,000-48,000 per annum, plus performance-related annual bonus. Monday to Friday working hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm. 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
