Horsfield Building Services Ltd are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer.
You will be working 42.5 hours per week, overtime available and in return, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from 40,000 to 55,000 per annum depending on experience, Plus Company Van and Fuel Card. We are an experienced, specialist heating services provider to commercial clients across the UK. Established in 1990's, we offer professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing, as well as energy solutions and maintenance services.

Responsibilities for the COMMERCIAL Gas Engineer will include: Service, maintenance and breakdown of gas fired heating systems.

Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies and industry best practices Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects Participating in the call out rota. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and customers Carry out installation, repairs, maintenance and plan operational duties, working with the various systems and reporting as requested Likely to be involved with appliances such as large/ small scale plant rooms, centralised heating boilers, gas heaters etc Assessing, dismantling, repairing or replacing relevant parts
Good all-round knowledge of heating systems with controls/BMS knowledge desirable
Good plumbing skills Full driving license Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
