COMMERCIAL GAS/HEATING ENGINEER
NO AGENCIES - DIRECT OR SUB-CONTRACT CONSIDERED
Purpose:
Opportunity to join a growing team offering mechanical building services to a wide range of clients including schools, factories and commercial buildings. Offering planned maintenance, reactive call outs and small works to our clients.
Candidate must be able to liaise with clients and show a good knowledge of the services offered to be able to keep clients informed on the works undertaken. Must have previous experience with commercial buildings and a range of appliances. The candidate will be expected to work as part of a team as well as taking sole ownership of the jobs allocated to you. Liaise with office help desk team to order parts and report defects etc.
Duties will include:
Service of all aspect of Commercial heating and gas equipment.
Gas soundness testing, pressurisation sets, pumps etc.
Remedial works to gas and heating systems.
Installations of heating, boilers and plumbing.
Fault finding and rectification works.
To recognise and complete all necessary compliance records in line with legislation.
To carry out site inspections, audits and periodic checks.
Duties to include call out.
Preferably with a secondary skill such as plumbing, F gas, Oftec or electrical.
Qualification and experience required:
Relevant Gas qualifications available and in date.
CSCS card.
Driving licence.
Any other training records.
Significant previous experience to support other engineers and deal with client's needs.
MEWPs.
