Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team working in the Wrexham Area. Company Van and fuel card provided. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be adept at working with various tools and equipment. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with safety standards.

Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues or potential hazards within gas systems. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform necessary repairs and installations. Install gas lines and ensure proper assembly of all components. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their gas systems and any necessary repairs or maintenance. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site.

Skills

The successful candidate should have:

Relevant qualifications in Commercial Gas Engineering (e.g., Gas Safe Register certification). Full UK Driving Licence Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
