Job Title: Commercial Gas Service Engineer

Location: Manchester, UK and Surrounding Areas

Salary: 43,000 - 48,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of gas systems and safety regulations, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems are conducted to the highest standards. This role is crucial in providing safe and efficient gas services to our clients.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and related equipment. Conduct thorough safety checks and inspections on gas installations. Diagnose faults in gas systems and undertake necessary repairs. Ensure compliance with current gas safety regulations and standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their gas needs. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, BMP1 - Required Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the gas industry. Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
