Due to sustained growth, SJD has full-time PAYE vacancies for experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians. You will able to confidently and capably undertake planned and responsive maintenance and installation projects for our esteemed local clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

This is an essential, client-facing role and you will be representing and upholding the brand values of SJD. You will be a reliable, motivated individual able to liaise confidently with clients in a professional and considerate manner. Our clients expect high levels of responsiveness and problem-solving, strong technical knowledge and high quality installations.

This role would suit someone with varied industrial experience, strong technical knowledge, good communication skills and confidence working independently or in a small team. You must be able to carry out fault finding and testing and inspection of existing installations.

You will have an electrical apprenticeship or be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (with AM2) and have a valid ECS Gold Card, or meet the eligibility requirements.

18th edition, test and inspection, IPAF and PASMA preferred but not essential, SJD will provide this training if required.
