An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the NFU Mutual East Cambridgeshire and Fenland Agency.
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Insurance Executive to join our NFU Mutual East Cambridgeshire Agency team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in insurance sales who thrives in a client-focused, consultative environment, and focused on new business development.
You will be responsible for handling inbound commercial enquiries while identifying new outbound opportunities for new business, offering tailored insurance solutions to meet the client's needs. Your ability to build relationships, understand client needs, and deliver exceptional service will be key to your success
Key Responsibilities
Respond to and manage inbound commercial insurance enquiries
Assess client needs and recommend appropriate NFU Mutual &/ or other Insurance provider products
Develop new business opportunities through sales planning, pipeline generation and prospecting
Cross selling Financial Services and Risk Management Services
Work collaboratively with agency colleagues to ensure seamless customer service
Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards
About you:
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance sales or commercial insurance
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working within an agency or brokerage environment is desirable
Skills & Qualifications
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple enquiries
Cert CII or working towards insurance qualifications (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
