Commercial Manager - The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show: Brighton Office, UK



Full-time, permanent role



We are recruiting for a full time Commercial Manager to join the team on one of our most successful trade events, The National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show (formerly known as Casual Dining). This major award-winning exhibition for the hospitality industry attracts over 8000 visitors each year to ExCeL London. Co-located annually with lunch! - The Contemporary Food To Go Show, you would secure exhibitors and sponsors, for this fast paced and dynamic industry event, with many of our clients offering important innovations for the sector.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, focused Commercial Sales Manager to drive revenue & who is looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking events company.

This is a high-impact role for someone who excels at phone-based selling, thrives on building strong client relationships, and knows how to convert interest into long-term commercial success. Communication and organisational skills are a must. Excellent attention to detail is essential, as well as superb account management and the ability to convert and close sales.

The role includes:



This is a dynamic and commercially focused role where selling over the phone and achieving a strong conversion rate are absolutely essential. You'll be responsible for driving revenue through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic account management.

High level business meetings with top industry brands First class account management to develop and maintain strong client relationships with key clients Cultivating new business leads Attending relevant industry trade shows Hitting individual and team sales targets Proactively pitching & closing sponsorship opportunities Collaboration with other departments such as operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure delivery of client requirements Curation of sales emails and reports Developing knowledge of the competitive landscape Social media post curation across LinkedIn Working with Salesforce to maintain the sales pipeline and generate reports for management

Our ideal candidate:



Currently working in a Commercial Manager role or similar, with a

proven track record of converting leads

Experience in the events and exhibition industry is advantageous but not essential Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail Hands-on, positive attitude as well as being a good team player
