The Commercial Manager at Bakers Street Limited will lead the development and execution of commercial strategies across both B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) channels for our bakery ingredient distribution operations. This role is essential in driving revenue growth, optimising profitability, and ensuring exceptional service across wholesale and retail markets.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement pricing, sales, and distribution strategies for bakery ingredients.
Expand market presence in both wholesale (bakeries, cafes, food manufacturers) and direct-to-consumer channels (e.g., e-commerce, retail outlets).
Lead key account negotiations with wholesale clients and establish long-term contracts.
Oversee retail strategy for consumer products, including pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.
Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of trends in baking, food service, and consumer preferences
Manage and develop the commercial team, including sales representatives, key account managers, and support staff.
Requirements
3 years minimum of FMCG experience in the UK
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Experience in B2B and B2C environments is preferred, with a solid understanding of marketing principles.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical capabilities.
