Commercial Manager

We are an established and growing business in the timber frame and MMC sector. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Bradley, Huddersfield. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing contracts, procurement, budgeting, and commercial performance across a range of exciting projects.

Salary

45,000 - 50,000 (DOE) + Bonus - Potential starting OTE 55,000

Key Responsibilities

Review and negotiate client contracts (JCT & NEC) Lead budget development with the Estimating and Sales teams Procure and manage erection subcontractors Manage variations and commercial scope changes Oversee final accounts and client payments Provide accurate commercial reporting to the senior leadership team Develop and improve commercial processes for timber frame delivery

What we're looking for

Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (ideal but not essential) 5+ years' solid experience in the commercial function Strong negotiation and contract management skills Experience managing erection subcontractors and final accounts Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach Personable and a relationship builder
