Commercial Manager

to bring sharp analysis and strategic insight to our newly established Commercial function.


This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business during an exciting phase of transformation. You'll play a central role in commercial decision-making, investment evaluation, and financial modelling across our full asset lifecycle - from early-stage development through to operations and M&A.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Commercial Manager, you'll:

Build and refine complex financial models across our portfolio of operating wind assets and development projects Conduct risk/return and sensitivity analyses to evaluate project viability and acquisition opportunities Prepare clear, concise investment committee material and financial reports for senior leadership Support commercial negotiations, from land lease agreements to grid connections and PPAs Evaluate asset lifecycle strategies, including repowering, divestments, and expansions Deliver market insights and contribute to our long-term growth strategy across multiple technologies and jurisdictions Collaborate closely with teams across development, construction, operations, finance and legal

What You'll Bring

Essential:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Maths, or similar quantitative field 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis or modelling, ideally in renewables or infrastructure Expertise in Excel-based financial modelling and discounted cash flow analysis Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

CFA/ACA/ACCA qualification (or working towards) Experience in wind, solar, or energy storage sectors Familiarity with electricity markets and project finance structures Knowledge of Power BI, Python, R, or VBA
