What are we looking for in this position?
Lead negotiations and finalisation of subcontracts with suppliers and service providers.
Ensure all subcontract agreements are legally sound, risk-managed, and aligned with project delivery goals.
Identify opportunities to buy smarterleveraging economies of scale, alternative sourcing, and value engineering.
Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and mitigate supply risks.
Lead monthly valuations and cost reporting, including forecasting and budget tracking.
Support the drafting, review, and execution of contracts including JCT, NEC, and bespoke forms.
Liaise with legal advisors and clients to resolve contractual queries and disputes.
What will we need you to have?
Strong leadership, positive and pro-active approach
Smart interpersonal and relationship management skills at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in the Modular Construction or Healthcare Construction Market
Strong understanding of UK contract law and standard forms (JCT, NEC).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in commercial software and document control systems.
Commercially astute with a proactive mindset.
Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Resilient under pressure and deadline-driven.
