Job Title: Commercial Manager
We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join a rapidly growing Telecommunications company that specialise in offering digital networks, telecommunications, and infrastructure solutions across the UK.
Your role as a Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the commercial and quantity surveying aspects of project delivery, ensuring strict contract compliance, risk mitigation, and financial performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities for this Commercial Manager role:

• Management of a commercial team, 4-5 direct reports
• Contract Negotiation
• Weekly P&L development, liaising with the Commercial and Finance Director to ensure P&L are accurately reported
• Full contract administration of the NEC3 contracts
• Procurement of subcontract resource, materials and equipment
• Cost Value Reconciliations
• Management of AFPs to the client and assessment of AFPs for Subcontractors
• Minimise/mitigate total risk exposure
• Forecasting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• General team development ad continuous improvement

Key Requirements for this Commercial Manager role:

• 10+ years of experience in a commercial role, ideally a background in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• FTTx experience highly desirable, would consider individuals with wider utilities experience
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships upstream (clients) and downstream (subcontractors
• IT Literacy, Microsoft office suite, MSP Project & Visio
• Team leadership, experience managing and leading commercial teams
• Experience working on NEC3/4 contract suite
• Full valid UK Driving License, travel to client sites may be required

Package offered or this Commercial Manager role

• Salary up to xc2xa380,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid, 2-3 days in the Midlands office
• Car allowance
