Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor - 60,000+ | On-Site | Permanent
Join us in shaping the future of a landmark mill conversion project. We're seeking a commercially savvy Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor with strong contract knowledge and a proven track record in construction to take the lead on-site.
What You'll Do
Oversee commercial aspects of a major heritage/mill conversion project
Manage subcontractor packages and valuations
Administer contracts (JCT essential)
Drive cost control and value engineering
Support project delivery from procurement through to final account
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a QS or Commercial Manager role (contractor or developer side
Strong understanding of JCT contracts
Detail-driven with sharp commercial instincts
Confident negotiator with excellent communication skills
Degree-qualified (Quantity Surveying or similar)
Desirable Extras
Experience with mill conversions or listed/heritage buildings
Chartered status (RICS, CIOB, or similar)
The Offer
Salary: From 60,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time, on-site
