What you will be doing
To support the Senior Commercial Manager and Sales Management to support the growth of the Office Service business, in particular IT services, in a profitable, controlled and compliant manner.
Commercial, Growth & Strategic
Develop and maintain standardised cost models to support pricing, forecasting, and profitability analysis across ITS services
To provide and manage accurate Business forecast consistently within the mechanism to track the Business expectations from RUK and Europe Board.
Produce price models and cash flow forecasts for large deals as required for internal use
Support Sales constructing robust and successful Business proposals that secure new Business and long term customer relationships
Provide guidance and management to sales teams to ensure deals are commercially viable are in line with Tender requirements and financial information to win new Business
To actively grow annuity revenue with new Business wins and commercially review existing deal to identify additional revenue lines
To work with the Commissions team and ensure relevant pay-plans within the remit of your role are compliant, fair, support business objectives and meet affordability criteria
Support as needed development of business cases to assist with assessment and evaluation of future investment into development of services capabilities and potential return on investment
Management Information & Reporting System
Designing and maintaining a reporting framework that supports production of management information to allow informed decision making across the business in relation to your area of responsibility
Proactively contribute to meet financial and performance targets to achieve overall Organisation's midterm strategy.
Work proactively and in partners with Finance for compliance in all financial reporting supplied.
To assess and proactively support the tracking and managing profitable Sales pipeline
Support in ensuring any regulatory and statutory obligations are met
Contract Review and Drafting
Act as a focal point for commercials with regard to ITS service contracting, including reviewing and drafting of commercial contracts in collaboration with Ricoh Legal and service design team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite
Work with cross functional team to establish standard templates for various ITS service contracts delivered to customers to improve standardisation and reduce time to contract
Provide commercial governance for contracts within the ITS service division including but not limited to ensuring process is followed, relevant clauses for indexation are increased, clarity on nature of any minimum commitments and alignment with cross functional teams ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite
Act as the conduit between the sales team and Ricoh's legal team with respect to ITS service contracts, negotiations and concluding statement of works.
Leadership
To develop strong relationship with Regional and National Sales Directors to ensure highly productive SME and sales support team working through business development, contracting and delivery cycle
To develop influence and trusted business advisor capacity to form part of a virtual team responsible for the leadership of the ITS service business
Able to operate independently and take ownership of complex commercial initiatives without close supervision.
Demonstrates strong self-leadership--sets direction, drives outcomes, and maintains accountability in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
You will ideally have
Educated to degree level or hold relevant business experience
Proven record of commercial experience, in a customer facing role within a professional/IT/Consultancy sector and a comparable size organisation.
Ability to support commercial negotiations with customers
Strong financial reporting and data analytics experience.
High level of accuracy
Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
Experience of understanding and developing cost models
Experience of developing business cases
Experience of contract review and interpretation, with ideally some experience of contract or statement of work drafting
Ability to interpret and present financial information in a Sales environment
Able to support, and motivate others within the team and other departments.
Flexible attitude and a team player, able to work under pressure to deadlines
Thrives in autonomous roles, proactively identifying priorities and delivering results with minimal oversight.
Possess excellent management and leadership qualities.
IT literate including intermediate to advanced Excel.
