Primary Objective



Ayr United FC is seeking a dynamic and creative Graduate Marketing & Commercial Trainee to support the Club's growth in fan engagement, sponsorship, and commercial operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to apply their marketing knowledge in a fast-paced professional football environment. You will play an active role in the delivery of marketing strategies, commercial planning, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Role and Responsibilities



Projects:

Prepare marketing plans and strategies Develop the online brand of the business Drive retail and commercial revenue Grow sponsorship and advertising partnerships
General:

Assist Commerical Manager with administrative duties Maintain relationships with existing partners Maintain the online presence of the business Conduit between commercial, finance, media and retail departments Support events and engage with the community

Timescale:



Understand how the business operates Establish a working relationship with the team Gain familiarity with the roles and responsibilities Carry out all roles and responsibilities Contribute positively to the existing Commerical team Take the role forward, fresh ideas and innovation

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):



Experience of working in a similar role within a dynamic environment, preferably within elite sport. Experience of a role that requires an ability to communicate effectively with a number of varied stakeholders. An ability to forward plan, manage & deliver a number of priorities simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to adapt to the environment to motivate and be a positive influence to peers and supporters/customers. Evidence of ongoing CPD and a desire to learn from other clubs/sports. Relevant academic qualification in business, marketing or other relevant subject.

Salary available on request but this role suits a recent graduate or as a paid internship.
