You will play an important role in:
Support Europe energy market director in defining the power (electricity, REGOs, ancillary services) sale strategy for our UK pipeline and identify value opportunities across the business and contribute to its execution, in collaboration with UK management, development and finance teams ;
Originate and structure innovative, adaptative route to market solutions for each technology (wind, solar, BESS), Lead the origination of cPPA business in the UK and secure the energy offtake of our pipeline;
Coordinate Boralex application to the regulatory tenders for subsidies (e.g. CfD) together with the development and financial analysis team ;
Conduct commercial negotiations and close profitable PPAs contracts;
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with major electricity buyers such as industrial companies, and utilities;
Manage existing commercial relations and guarantee the satisfaction of our customers;
Monitor market developments to identify consumers, their needs, or changes in offering structures and regulatory developments;
Set up and manage sales reporting with the main KPIs monitored by our management and our customers.
To succeed in this position, you need:
You are a graduate of a business school or engineering school, with a specialization in energy or finance; you will have strong and credible experience in the energy and/or renewable energy markets, preferably in commercial roles, with a strong network across UK industrial energy consumers and utilities. You have developed a solid experience in business development and customer relationship management, and a good understanding of the energy market and economic and regulatory issues.
You are a business oriented individual, with a proven ability to work in a complex international environment and structure, and can synthesize data from multiple sources. You are good communicator, comfortable in complex negotiations; Proactive, creative and open-minded individual.
