Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and self-sufficient

Plumber

to join our team on a full or part-time basis. As a company with an electrical bias, we are looking for a plumbing professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

The role involves installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems, primarily within office fit-outs and public health installations, including hot & cold water services, above-ground drainage, and other associated systems. Occasional residential work may also be required.

Key Responsibilities



Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings Work with a variety of pipe materials (copper, plastic, etc.) using appropriate tools and techniques Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to determine plumbing layouts Conduct inspections to identify issues or potential risks Test pipework for leaks and perform chlorination procedures in line with BS 8558 Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as needed Liaise with site managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure coordinated installations

Essential Requirements



CSCS Card

(valid)

Minimum NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds

in Plumbing & Heating

G3 Unvented Hot Water Qualification

Water Regulations Certificate

Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience Strong understanding of public health systems and commercial plumbing best practices Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites Full UK Driving Licence (preferable)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience



Commercial gas qualifications (e.g.,

ACS - Commercial Gas

or equivalent) Previous experience in commercial office fit-out environments SSSTS or SMSTS Familiarity with HVAC or AC systems (advantageous)

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding ability Strong communication skills and professional client-facing manner Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Competent with power tools and plumbing equipment Knowledge of chlorination, pressure testing and commissioning procedures Comfortable working at pace and coordinating with other trades Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organised
