Due to an internal promotion we're excited to be looking for a Commercial Programming Executive to join our Commercial Content team in London.



The focus of this role is to champion sponsorship, promotions and branded content revenue across the award-winning Magic Network, Absolute Radio Network, Planet Rock and Jazz FM.



You'll collaborate closely with the Content teams for each station, as well as with Bauer Advertising's Creative Strategy, Delivery, Planning, and National Sales teams. Your role will be central to collaboration in fostering strong, effective relationships across these departments.



As a brand expert for these stations, you'll develop a deep understanding of all commercial opportunities available across these platforms.



You'll also oversee the details of all proposed and confirmed campaigns across these stations, ensuring there are no client conflicts and that inventory is used to its fullest potential.

Our Team

The Commercial Content team are a core part of Bauer Media Advertising's creative partnerships offering, driving branded content revenue through specialist knowledge across our portfolio of brands including Radio, Podcasts, Publishing, Digital and Social.



Within this, the Commercial Programming team are the conduit between the advertising sales team and the Content teams at our radio stations. The purpose of the team is twofold:


To create best in class, deliverable, brand-led solutions and executions in response to client briefs that create impact for clients and consumers. To drive radio brand-led proactive opportunities across advertising through the creation of presentations and collateral, working hand in hand with programming and marketing colleagues.

What you will do

This is an exciting role with the opportunity to work with Commercial and Content teams. You'll be absolutely central in crafting executions and ideas for clients for opportunities across Magic, Absolute Radio, Planet Rock and Jazz FM, from show sponsorships to breakfast show promotions, talent-led content to events such as Magic at the Musicals!

You'll be responsible for:

Assisting the Commercial Programming Director (CPD) in organising the daily Magic and Absolute Radio brainstorm sessions where client briefs are discussed. Work with the CPD and internal teams in order to write up solutions, put together planning instructions and production costs. Working closely with Project Managers to ensure solutions can be effectively delivered. Managing availability across the stations Branded Content and Programming Calendars. Pulling together collateral for and developing pro-active opportunities for these stations across the wider commercial teams. Ensuring all booked campaigns across these brands move seamlessly into delivery by checking booking forms and attending 'kick off' meetings. Attending internal and external brainstorms and meetings concerning Magic, Absolute Radio, Planet Rock and Jazz FM.
