Commercial Property Paralegal / Solicitor Apprenticeship - Colchester

Location: Colchester

Pattern: Full time - Office based

Salary: 25,000-32,000

Oculus Legal group are partnering with a multi office regional law firm who are a property specialist with big aspirations for growth.

We are looking to find a commercial property paralegal or solicitor apprentice looking to make the next step to qualifying. You'll help deliver residential and commercial property investment transactions for companies and private investors while completing a fully-funded SQE route to qualification. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with clear progression as the team expands.

Skills and Experience

A sound grasp of the conveyancing process - assisting or fee earning

Genuine interest in commercial and residential investment property.

Organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines.

Personable team player able to build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with matters on acquisitions, disposals, re-mortgages and portfolio work for investment clients.

Draft and review contracts, reports on title, leases and ancillary documents.

Manage searches, SDLT returns, registrations and post-completion tasks.

Liaise daily with clients, agents, lenders and counsel, ensuring excellent service.

Support business-development initiatives alongside the wider team.
