Rubric Law are seeking a full-time paralegal to support our commercial property department.

Rubric Law is a dynamic boutique law firm which has spent the time required to hand pick and nurture its team. This attention to detail has enabled the firm to build a unique set of values by which the entire firm operates. The service delivered is comparable in quality and sophistication to the top 200 firms, however it benefits from a more personal touch.
We are now seeking an ambitious and commercially minded legal assistant or paralegal to facilitate continued growth during 2025.
The role
You will be instrumental in assisting in the continued development and growth of the firm and the commercial property department. The role involves supporting both the commercial property department and the corporate department in property matters pertaining to the sale or acquisition of businesses and other more general commercial property matters.
Your duties will include client engagement, file opening, AML, EDD where required, due diligence reports, legal research, drafting and proofreading contracts and other PLC precedents, filing submissions to Companies House, Land Registry transactions, invoicing and online portal management.
You will need to be focused on building relationships with clients and introducers and be able to consistently deliver outstanding and professional support to both fee earners and clients.

Who you will be working with?
As a boutique commercial firm (8 head count) you will have direct access to all members of the team. Primarily you will spend time with, and report to, your Head of Department.

What will you be like?
You will have a minimum of 1 years' previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within Commercial Property.
You will have a Law Degree.
You will be entrepreneurial and confident in your ability to help the department grow.
You will be professional, personable and approachable.
You will be highly articulate both verbally and in writing.
You will be confident in the use of a case management system and time recording will be a natural part of your working day.
You will be proficient in MS365.
You will enjoy being part of a dynamic team but comfortable in working autonomously.
You will be comfortable with a varied case load in all areas of property law.

Location, hours and salary:
Full-time (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week) role -- 9.00am till 5.30pm.
Location - this can be an office based role located in Monmouth or a hybrid/remote role. The team also meet on a bi-monthly basis on the outskirts of Bristol.
Salary: circa 32k experience dependant.
