Shape the Future of Commercial Property Law with Us
Are you a proactive, commercially astute solicitor ready to make your mark? We seek talented professionals to join our thriving Commercial Property department, working alongside the Head of Department and Directors to deliver exceptional legal services and drive our Firm's growth. This role can be based in York or Malton
These pivotal roles will be managing a broad and varied caseload, advising clients on leases, acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and financing arrangements. You'll need to be able to draft, negotiate, and review legal documents--ensuring clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation at every stage. Your expertise will be vital in conducting due diligence, responding to legal enquiries, and providing commercially sound solutions tailored to client needs.
Beyond transactional work, you'll play an active role in client relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience from instruction to post-completion. You'll participate in business development initiatives, networking with industry professionals, contributing to marketing campaigns, and identifying emerging market trends to inform our service offering.
Collaboration is at our core, working closely with colleagues across property and corporate teams, providing integrated advice on cross-disciplinary matters. You'll also be required to mentor and supervise junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Your responsibilities will extend to financial oversight--effective budgeting, billing, and monitoring performance against KPIs--while upholding the highest standards of compliance with SRA regulations, anti-money laundering legislation, and GDPR. Contributing to departmental strategy, resource allocation, and operational improvements, ensuring quality and productivity go hand in hand.
If you have 2 years+ PQE as a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) in commercial property, with strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a collaborative, client-focused mindset then get in touch. If successful, be ready for a challenging, rewarding role where your expertise will be valued and your career will flourish--apply today and help us lead the way in commercial property law!
