This role offers the chance to work on high-value projects across the North East, playing a pivotal role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of live projects. You'll be instrumental in driving financial performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Support a site-based commercial team across MSIP & E&I contracts Prepare and manage cost reports, CVRs, and financial forecasts Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and final account settlements Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations and commercial governance Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project cash flow Contribute to month-end reporting and performance analysis

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial or construction sector Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (RICS membership is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Excellent numerical and communication abilities
