The Bateman Group are a respected independent insurance broker that has been established since 1967; and we are currently looking strengthen our existing team in recruiting an experienced Commercial Development Executive to work within our small, friendly team in providing client-focused advice and support to our existing and future client account.
The role is primarily based around New Business generation and all the necessary back office support, prospect data, supporting markets, additional training, etc are provided.

Requirements of Account Development Executive role:
Generating quotations & meetings via telephone & email - "call centre" experience would be useful
To obtain new business from new Commercial & Specialist Scheme prospects
To cross- & up-sell covers to existing Commercial & Scheme clients
To carry out annual reviews on specified client accounts
Chase through new business enquiries generated through our website
To liaise with internal Account Handlers & broking support

Over 4,200 renewals in system in renewal month order
External telemarketing company collecting renewal date information
External marketing company providing full integrated e-marketing campaigns
Acturis back office administration system
Unlimited email, letter & phone contact activity via BYM integration with Acturis
Dedicated Account Handler support
Requirements:
3-5 years' insurance industry experience - preferably within a commercial insurance-related role.
Cert CII qualifications/part-qualified is preferred
Candidates must have existing UK-based insurance knowledge or experience which will be assessed and tested as part of the recruitment process -
